I’m staring out the window, hands in pockets of my coffee stained green apron. Three women walk through and each stares up at the menu board mouths gaping in concentration. I can practically hear their sound bites floating around the cafe.

I always wonder what they’re off to next. Husbands? Families? Shopping?
They all stand there in such comic stance that I can’t resist sketching them as I wait for them to order.
